After his undergraduate education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Stahl graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1979. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT in 1982 and received his Board Certification in that specialty that year. One of the founders of this practice in 1983, Dr. Stahl has been the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director for Hartford Medical Group since September 1995. In addition, he provides Occupational Medicine services at our Wethersfield office location and is Medical Director for two large employer groups in Hartford County. He holds the academic position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of CT School of Medicine in Farmington, CT. Dr. Stahl is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Physician Executives, and American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
