Dr. Weinreb has been in practice since 1993 and has been with Hartford Medical Group since 1998. He graduated from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1987. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Chicago, Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL in 1990. He completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT in 1993. He received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1990, Oncology in 1993, and Hematology in 1994.
Prior to joining Hartford Medical Group, Dr. Weinreb held the academic position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1998. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
