Dr. Stein has been in practice since 1978 and joined Hartford Medical Group in 2001. He graduated from the New York Medical College where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1975. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT in 1978. He received his board certification in Internal Medicine in 1979. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and has a special interest in Geriatric Medicine.
Prior to joining Hartford Medical Group, Dr. Stein was in private practice from 1978 to 1984 and affiliated with Northeast Permanente Medical Group/CT Health Partners Medical Group from 1984 to 2001. He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, CT since 1978.
