HMG  was founded in 1983 with a goal of providing accessible, high quality and cost effective healthcare to the greater Hartford community. HMG continues in that tradition, striving to be the best source of primary care services in the communities served. Our physicians and staff are available to care for patients seven days a week including weekday evening hours. Our service goal is to see any of our patients the same day if possible, and always within 24 hours of their request  for an appointment, and to do that with high levels of customer service and quality medicine. Whether an individual patient''s need is focused on the prevention of medical disorders, the treatment of known problems or the evaluation of new symptoms, HMG''s primary care providers, linked to the area''s best specialists and to Hartford Hospital, offer an ideal care delivery system dedicated to partnering with our patients to maximize their well being. HMG also provides urgent care/walk-in care services.  Same-day care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries with convenient evening and weekend hours available at most locations.  No appointments are necessary.  HMG is honored to have scored in the top 1% of 954 participating medical groups in Connecticut in the Quality Program of a major insurer studying preventive care and disease management!
