Sports Medicine physicians apply their knowledge, training and dedication in sports medicine and exercise science to promote healthier lifestyles for people.  Sports Medicine physicians are committed to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries and the advancement of the science of exercise.  From athletes to people with chronic diseases or physical challenges, Sports Medicine physicians continue to look for and use methods to allow individuals to live longer and more productive lives.
 
Dr. Jeff Brown directs the Sports Medicine program at Hartford Medical Group and sees patients in our South Main Street office in West Hartford.  Dr. Brown completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Connecticut and is a team physician at Central Connecticut State University.  Dr. Greg Czarnecki sees patients in our Glastonbury office and completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Massachusetts.  Their approach to injured athletes is to provide a specific detailed diagnosis and a personal rehabilitation plan.  Their focus is always to help patients return to their desired activities as soon as possible.
