Joan Gigstad, M.D.

Dr. Gigstad joined Hartford Medical Group in 1996.  She graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 1988.  She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT in 1992.  She also completed a fellowship program in Infectious Disease at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA in 1996.  She received her board certification in Internal Medicine in 1993 and her board certification in Infectious Disease in 1996.
