Dr. Brown has been in practice since 2004 and joined Hartford Medical Group in 2006. He graduated from Brown Medical School in Providence, RI in 1999. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Rochester/Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY in 2002, and then he served as Chief Resident from 2002 to 2003. Upon completion of his chief residency, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut/Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT in 2004. Dr. Brown received his board certification in Family Medicine in 2002 and in Sports Medicine in 2004. He is the Director of Sports Medicine at Hartford Medical Group, and he is a Team Physician for Central CT State University in New Britain, CT. Dr. Brown is a frequent speaker on sports medicine topics at local conferences and symposia. He enjoys teaching sports medicine fellows, residents, medical students, and athletic training students.
